How can Gift Aid Boost
your Donations to Langham Partnership?
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers.
When a UK taxpayer makes a donation to Langham Partnership and they choose to Gift Aid it, we can claim an additional 25p from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to the donor.
This means that Langham can increase the value of every donation by 25%!
What about past donations? Can Gift Aid be applied to those gifts?
Absolutely! You can choose to go back up to 4 years and select one or more donations to apply Gift Aid to.
In order to qualify for Gift Aid, donors must be UK taxpayers and must have paid enough income or capital gains tax to cover the amount Langham will reclaim. Additionally, donors must complete a Gift Aid declaration, confirming that they are eligible for Gift Aid and that they understand the scheme.
