Gifts in Wills
Your Legacy Can Shape the Future of the Global Church
Jesus promised He would build His Church - with a legacy gift, you can be part of His plan.
Over the years, you’ve worked hard. You’ve saved faithfully. You’ve planned wisely for your family’s future.
What you may not realise is that your legacy may now be one of the most powerful tools you have to strengthen Christ’s church for generations to come.
One of our colleagues spoke with a Langham friend and financial advisor who said with genuine urgency:
“We need to tell people how easy it is to make a transformational gift by simply listing Langham as a beneficiary in their will.”
He’s right, and that is why Langham has partnered with Octopus Legacy to offer our supporters a free simple will.
This is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to make a lasting Kingdom investment.
Why Leave a Legacy?
It’s Simple
Naming Langham Partnership as a beneficiary in your will is straightforward. In most cases, it can be done in just a few minutes with a solicitor or through a trusted online will-writing service such as Octopus Legacy.
It Doesn’t Affect Your Life Today
A legacy gift is a future gift. It doesn’t impact your finances now, and you can update your beneficiaries at any time. It simply flows from what God has already provided.
It’s Wise Stewardship
Legacies can be heavily taxed. Because Langham is a charity, 100% of the portion you designate will go directly to strengthening pastors and churches around the world. In fact, your gift to Langham is deducted from your estate's total value before any inheritance tax is calculated. Furthermore, if you leave 10% or more of your net estate to charity, the inheritance tax rate on the remainder of the estate can be reduced from 40% to 36%.
It Can Be Far More Significant Than You Think
If you’ve been saving faithfully for decades, your legacy may now represent one of your largest assets. A gift in your will could become one of the most impactful gifts you ever make — potentially exceeding your lifetime giving.
Imagine the Impact
- Pastors trained
- Churches strengthened
- Biblical resources placed in the hands of leaders around the world
All because of one simple decision.
