Serbia preaching training

Slavko Hadžić, Langham Preaching’s country coordinator for Bosnia, leading training in Serbia last year.

The Langham Preaching App, one of our Seedbed projects, is already helping many leaders and teachers – but so far, it is only available in English, French and Spanish. Just last month, a Serbian translation of the App was submitted to the developers and now it just needs to “go live”! Please pray that many preachers in this needy country will download and use this exciting new technology.

Serbia is a Balkan country with a population of 7 million, and there are just 10,000 evangelical Christians. The main religion in nominal orthodoxy, and evangelicals are often seen as belonging to ‘sects’, so churches face many challenges.

Participants of the first ever Langham Preaching seminar in Serbia pose for a group photo.

Langham Preaching held its very first training event in Serbia last April. Attendees thoroughly enjoyed the seminar, and could not wait for the next session. Resources such as the Preaching App will help these preachers to network with each other and get help with their sermon preparation in between these training events.

Please pray that many church leaders will download and use the App when the translation goes live. Find out how you can support the Preaching App project.
